The practical meaning of these terms

CareCredit Explained provides general educational content and browser-based planning tools. It cannot see or service a CareCredit account, and its estimates are not official account calculations. Use the site to understand a question, organize information and identify a next step—then rely on the current statement, promotional disclosure, account agreement, provider records and official account channels for decisions involving a specific account.

Using this site

These terms apply when you visit carecredit-registeremail.com, read its guides, use its browser-based tools, download a file or follow one of its links. By using the site, you agree to use it in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or its tools.

The site is intended for general informational and personal planning use. It is not an application for credit, an account portal, a payment service, a provider billing system or a substitute for the documents governing a CareCredit account.

Independent status

CareCredit Explained is an independent information resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by CareCredit, Synchrony Bank or any healthcare provider.

CareCredit and related names, marks and logos belong to their respective owners. Their use on this site is for identification and explanatory purposes and does not imply an official relationship.

What the site can help with

The guides and tools are designed to help readers:

  • Understand general concepts such as deferred interest, promotional balances and minimum payments
  • Locate relevant dates and figures on a statement or promotional disclosure
  • Prepare questions for a provider, CareCredit or Synchrony
  • Estimate a personal budgeting target from figures the user supplies
  • Organize multiple promotional balances or keep a dated refund timeline
  • Find an appropriate official website or account destination

The site aims to explain where a controlling fact should be found. It does not claim that a general rule, public example or calculator result determines what will happen on every account.

What the site cannot do

CareCredit Explained has no access to private CareCredit, Synchrony, provider, bank, credit-report or medical systems. It cannot:

Account actions remain with official parties

  1. View or verify an account balance, promotional deadline, payment allocation or interest charge.
  2. Accept a payment, change a due date, remove a charge or alter account terms.
  3. Approve an application, increase a credit limit or explain an individual credit decision.
  4. Submit, accelerate or trace a provider refund inside an account.
  5. Resolve fraud, a billing dispute, a missing payment or an unauthorized transaction.
  6. Confirm that a provider accepts CareCredit for a particular service, product or location.

Use the official contact information on the CareCredit website, the back of the card or the current statement for account servicing. Contact the provider about its price, treatment or product, cancellation policy and the refund it initiates.

General information, not individualized advice

Site content is general educational information. It is not individualized financial, legal, tax, credit or medical advice and does not create a professional, fiduciary, lender, borrower, provider or customer relationship.

A reader’s result may depend on facts this site cannot see, including the account agreement, promotional disclosure, transaction dates, daily balances, payment posting, allocation rules, returns, fees and communications with the issuer or provider. Seek an appropriate qualified professional when a decision requires advice tailored to individual circumstances.

Terms for browser-based tools

Calculators and record-keeping tools accept information entered by the user and produce estimates or locally organized records. They are planning aids, not official account calculators or statements.

  • A payoff target is a budgeting estimate, not the required minimum payment or a promise that payments will be allocated to a particular balance.
  • An interest illustration cannot reproduce an issuer’s calculation without complete account-specific daily balance and transaction information.
  • A refund tracker records events entered by the user; it does not verify that a provider submitted a refund or that a credit posted.
  • A multiple-balance planner keeps promotional purchases separate for planning; it does not determine how the issuer will apply a payment.

Where a tool saves records, they remain in local browser storage on that device until cleared. You are responsible for the accuracy of the values entered, protecting access to the device, preserving any export you need and checking every result against current account documents.

Never enter card numbers, account credentials, bank details, Social Security numbers, identity documents or medical records into a tool.

Accuracy, sources and changes

The site is researched from sources considered relevant to each question, including public CareCredit and Synchrony materials and government consumer guidance. Reasonable efforts are made to keep core explanations and links useful, but public pages, product terms, offers, rates, account processes and external destinations can change.

A review date shows when a page was last substantively checked. It does not guarantee that every linked page or account term remains unchanged after that date. Information can also contain an error, omission or outdated example.

Your current statement, promotional disclosure, account agreement and official issuer instructions control when they conflict with a general explanation on this site.

  • Use the site for fraud, impersonation, credential collection or misleading account support
  • Claim that you, your service or a copied page is officially operated or endorsed by CareCredit Explained
  • Attempt to bypass security, disrupt availability or introduce malicious code
  • Use automated requests in a way that unreasonably burdens the site or prevents normal access

  • Remove source, trademark, copyright or independent-status notices from republished material

Messages, corrections and suggestions

If you send a correction, source, suggestion or technical report, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not contain information you are prohibited from disclosing. Do not send private account, identity, payment or medical records.

A submission may be used to investigate an issue and improve public site content. Sending a suggestion does not guarantee publication, a reply or a particular correction. A factual change is made only after the relevant evidence is reviewed.

Availability and changes to the site

Pages, tools, fields, links and features may be corrected, updated, suspended or removed. The site may also be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, hosting failures, security work or events outside reasonable control.

Do not rely on the site as the only copy of a deadline, refund record, account document or exported planning file. Keep the official documents and personal records needed for an account-specific decision.

Disclaimers

The site and its tools are provided on an “as available” basis for general informational use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that the site will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular account, transaction or decision.

CareCredit Explained does not guarantee approval, provider acceptance, promotional eligibility, payment allocation, a payoff result, refund posting, interest treatment, dispute resolution or any other account outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CareCredit Explained is not liable for a loss arising from reliance on a general explanation or estimate instead of checking the controlling account documents, provider records or official instructions. This includes loss connected with a missed deadline, interest charge, payment decision, provider transaction, local browser-data loss or action taken on a third-party website.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms and contact

These terms may be updated when the site, its tools or relevant legal and operational requirements change. The review date at the top of the page indicates when the terms were last substantively checked. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use of the site.

Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@carecredit-registeremail.com. This address cannot provide CareCredit account support.
